The Yellow Jar began from a lifelong passion for homemade goodness. Our founder (and mother of three) learned the art of pickling from her own mother, who picked, jarred, and preserved with care—generation after generation.
Now that her children have grown and built lives of their own, she wanted to share her family’s kitchen treasures with the world. What started as small batches of tangy pickles grew into a full line of handcrafted, lovingly-made goods—everything from jams and chutneys to spice blends and beyond.
